Infiniti is a Japanese luxury car brand that offers a range of cars and SUVs with performance and premium features. It was launched in 1990 with the goal of creating premium vehicles for America that didn't fit within Nissan's mainstream image. Similar to Acura and Lexus, Infiniti started with two models, the Q45 sedan and the M30 coupe and convertible, and later added the entry-level G20.

As Infiniti's sales grew, the brand added more vehicles to its lineup, including the Q45 luxury sport sedan with a powerful V8 engine and cutting-edge technology like an active suspension system. The QX4 SUV was also introduced, with off-road capabilities that gave it an advantage over competing car-based SUVs. Despite steady growth, Infiniti still lagged behind Lexus and Acura in popularity.

In the early 2000s, Infiniti focused on upgrading its products and sharpening its brand identity. The introduction of the G35 in 2003 was a turning point for the brand, offering an entry-level, midsize car with immediate sales success. The FX35/FX45 crossover SUV followed suit, providing a sporty and utilitarian vehicle option.

Today, Infiniti's lineup includes the G, FX, M, EX, JX, and QX models, with the M Hybrid being its first hybrid vehicle. All of Infiniti's latest models prioritize luxury, sport, quality, and value, providing shoppers with a range of options to fit their needs and preferences.
