2022 Acura MDX has Arrived With More Style and Tech

Recently, in October month Acura highlighted the preview of its 2022 MDX prototype and showed the company’s all-new flagship SUV. now, Acura has released its 2022 Acura MDX and this new three-row luxury SUV looks identical to the prototype. all the specifications and pricing give an idea that this MDX is more spacious than the car it replaces. 

Acura’s 2022 model is considered the biggest generation leap made for the MDX model. This new MDX is launched with major changes including the platform, chassis, exterior part, and interior part. The company tried to make its look more upmarket and upfront by adding the new sheet metal. 

This car has got a bolder front fascia incorporating a 3D diamond pentagon grille with slim LED headlights and daytime running lights. Dimensionally 2022 MDX has a 2.8-inch longer wheelbase which is wider than the outgoing model 2020 MDX. Wheels are placed near the edge of bodywork to give it a muscular look.

Inside, this new 2022 model is available with a second-row seat with a removable center section to separate the captain’s chair or three-passenger bench. It is also featured with 12-way adjustment, three-position memory, and three-way seat heating. Acura has included various paint options like standard non-metallic finishes with six premium colors. 

This is the first time that MDX’s double-wishbone front suspension is integrated with multilink rear suspension to give a smoother ride. 2022 Acura MDX is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque and it is featured with intelligent variable valve timing and lift electronic control to improve the fuel economy. 

Acura’s new model is also offering an active shutter grille to close the lower grille in some situations so that it can divert the air around by reducing aerodynamic drag. the standard model of MDX is available with A-spec, more technology, and advanced packages with a more powerful type S variant.

 People also have the option to choose the MDX Type S that is powered with 355 horsepower 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 along with 21-inch wheels. The price of 2022 Acura MDX starts at $46,900 with FWD and if we exclude the AWD then the price is $48,900 with $1,025 destination charges. 2022 Acura MDX will go on sale on February 2, 2021, with Type S will follow in late summer.
