We were on vacation from Maryland and had a low tire pressure light come on. We stopped at Wetzel and the service staff there checked it all out, test drove the car and found out the spare was a bit low. No charge and everyone was wonderfully nice to us. We were traveling from Maryland to lllinois and had spent the night in Richmond. Thanks again, Wetzel Honda! And we were driving a Toyota!!! Brilliant job - thanks again.

Disappointed with my experience at Wetzel Honda. I was interested in a 2021 SUV. I called before we made the trip to make sure the online price included all costs and there were no hidden fees. I was told that the online price was the price to expect when we arrived. I then asked if there was any possible negotiation and was told there was a possibility to get a few hundred dollars off. I then received a call a few minutes later stating that there is a non-negotiable $299 addition for the flashing brake light. I appreciated the "honesty", and we drove down to Wetzel Honda a few days later. When we arrived, the 2021 SUV had 1,500 more miles on it than what was listed. Apparently, one of the salesmen was treating this vehicle as his personal car which is extremely unprofessional. There was also a gash in the hood down to the paint which would rust if not repaired. These were both things that we were disappointed with, but we were still interested in the vehicle if we could get a good price. When it came time for my vehicle to be appraised, I was told by the manager that there was hail damage (small dents, nothing down to the paint) that would need to be repaired. Which I assume is a lie because why did they not fix the gash on the hood of the vehicle I was going to purchase? They lowballed my trade-in and used the excuse of hail damage. After back and forth attempted negotiation, Wetzel Honda refused to come down on their price even though there were 1,500 more miles and a gash on the hood. I tried to get $300 more for my trade-in and they refused. There was no negotiation at all even though their vehicle was not as advertised. I honestly do not know why anyone would buy a car from these people.
