Working with the team at Thelen Honda has been the best car buying experience I've ever had! I had come to MI for a couple days to visit family and wanted to see about trading in my parents' leased Accord for a new vehicle. On Friday, Garrett was fantastic helped me coordinate quotes and getting everything prepped via email so that we'd be ready when we came to test drive vehicles the next day. On Saturday, even though the dealership was busy and he was the only manager on duty, Patrick took the time to handle our trade-in, set us up with a great deal, coordinate the lease financing, and manage all of the paperwork to get us in the new Passport that day! It meant the world to me that we were able to get my parents into such a great vehicle, on a weekend, with such care and attention... and that I could head home that Sunday with everything taken care of. The care and hospitality that Garrett and Patrick showed our family has truly made us customers of Thelen for life!

I came to Thelen looking for a used car. I found one I wanted and sat down to agree on a purchase price. The salesman was not willing to come down at all on the price of the car. He also charged me an 800.00 lot fee. The car was not cleaned well at all. It was on empty when I drove it as well. They only filled the tank halfway when I purchased it. I did buy it because the particular model I wanted was hard to find and used cars are extremely hard to find right now. The reason in writing this is because I had a completely different experience the very next week when my daughters each bought a used car from a dealer in Midland. The people worked with my daughters to give them an amazing deal, both vehicles were detailed beautifully and looked new in the inside. They also filled both tanks up with gas. I will never go to Thelen Honda again. They need to learn what customer service is.

I was on my way home from vacation when the engine light in my Honda came on & it immediately began to lose acceleration on the interstate. After making our way into town & trying a couple of different mechanics (who were very kind but unable to help), we found the Honda dealership and it was an absolute Godsend. We were greeted by the kindest gentlemen who immediately looked at my car and found the issue. Because they would have to order the necessary part and it would take a few days to arrive, they literally patched everything back together to get my child & I home safely (100+ miles!). They refused payment of any kind for their time and help. We did arrive home safely and when I took my car in to our local Honda dealership the next day for service, they said that Thelen had done incredible work & it likely would've held up for quite some time. A HUGE thank you to the wonderful gentlemen in the service department for their kindness, honesty, and help. We are so grateful!

I always bring my car back to Thelen Honda because they have the best service department around!! Always polite on the phone and can get me in rather quickly. Tim and James are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and make sure I’m taken care of! Definitely would recommend!

My bill was more than 2,000 than I expected or planned for... But if Thelan says it needs to be, I do it! I trust these people. I have brought my car here for several years. I am treated with respect, they make sure I understand what has been done to my car, they help me prioritize repairs by explaining what's the most critical, and they are fast!
