Send them a car for diagnostics. Car was sent on a flat bed . Given that it was the collection I didn’t bother immediately to check to see if car was recieved. The day after and after multiple attempts to get in touch with service advisor ( was impossible to get hold of him (Miqueas Melendez) or the young lady that coordinated appointment (Osmedy Lopez) even left them voicemails. After a week I finally get hold of service advisor after calling all day trying to get hold of him and he proceeded to tell me he never recieved the car , which was dropped off a week ago . I proceed to go drive and address the issue in person . I find the service advisor sitting on his desk in his phone while I was waiting for him to call me back since he said he was going to look for the car . I Tell him what car I’m looking for and I sit on his office for 30 mins while he “looks for the car “ , then comes back and tells me that he looked everywhere and the car was not in the building , but he tells me that last thing we can do is to look at the tow lot to see if maybe it was there . Before we headed to the lot he proceeds to explain situation to manager . The manager doesn’t talk to me given the gravity of the situation ( possibly stolen car under their care). This is where the story gets really good . Car is not on the tow lot however I ran into the person who does the towing for THE COLLECTION, very nice man they call him tiny . I personally ask him if by any chance he’s seen the car I’m looking for and without missing a heartbeat he says down the parking spot where the car was . Long story short The car was found , but I was shocked beyond belief of how poorly the situation was handled given that this place is considered to be one of the best places when it comes to cars and the poor care by the service advisor and people running the service department. Fast forward to today , the car was initially taken there for an oil change and a diagnostic for water with oil . It took them another week to have a tech look at the car , just to say everything was ok but they never did what I initially asked them to do , an oil change . So the car is going to be almost in their dealership for 3 weeks they lost the car , and haven’t managed to do an oil change on it . I will go out of my way before I take a car to the collection again for service . I hope Ken Gorin, Ugo Colombo and Pete Risi handle this since this is not what the collection stands for .
