Had a great, no hassle experience at South Pointe Honda. I scheduled an appointment with Joe and told him the used vehicle I had in mind to look at. When I arrived he had it ready to go for me to test drive. I was given a great deal on my trade in and the buying process was easy. Joel in finance was friendly and got us settled quickly. Would recommend South Pointe Honda for anyone who is looking for a new vehicle!
I can’t say enough about how great of an experience we had. From dealing with Joe, to Steve, to Eli, it was all flawless. We were “that customer” coming in from out of town and were going to hold them after close. They did not care, everyone was awesome and understanding. 10/10 for the dealership, the workers, and the process of the entire thing. You will not be disappointed in South Pointe Honda. We will be back.
Matthew is very very nice person, he is very patience to take care of every customer. His service is NO.1. my English is not well, but he tried to understand my words and listened very carefully. I really thankful Matthew, Thank you very very much 😀.

I had a 9 a.m. appointment for a tire warranty replacement. Over the phone was told it should be less than 2 hours (which still seemed long to me since it was an appointment). After 2 1/2 hours, I had to check on them as I hadn't heard anything and they said they were just getting started. It was a little over 3 hours. Love that they fixed and honored the warranty, but wow on the time. Their website also said "baked goods" and there were none; a car wash with any appointment, my car wasn't washed; Coffee (the hot chocolate tasted a little odd and I later overheard an employee tell another employee it needed cleaned, but a sign was never put up). The tolet paper holders were all open/unlocked in the ladies restroom, which I just found odd. Several years ago, I stopped going here when a 1 hour oil change took several hours...seems like there is still a time issue. I will add that the employees were very nice though. :)
I've leased three cars through South Point Honda, and each experience has been nothing less than stellar. As a consumer, I feel heard, understood, and I've consistently been presented with a set of choices that align with the goals I've communicated to the salespeople. My last lease was concluded within 2 hours (from arrival through leaving with my new car) on 10/31/22 for a Honda Passport, and I worked with Eli Davis. That experience was easily the most efficient conversation and buying experience I've ever had when it comes to discussing preferences, purchase options (lease v. purchase), transparent conversation on goals and future plans that may or may not restrict possibility of money down, and the closeout process. 11/10 - would suggest anyone looking to buy a Honda to ask for Eli.
I got the coupon for the oil change and the appointment online for my mother in law. (MIL) Very easy to do and the lady on the phone was very polite and kind. They were finished in 1 hour. Waiting room was comfortable to sit and wait and we split a complimentary donut:) The gentleman came to get us when the car was ready. It took a minute to walk to… ? Where did he go? We stood and got our purses and phones. The gentleman walked away (different way than how we came in. No big deal- and it would just be courteous for someone to wait and direct us. Then, he said you car is right out there… I pointed to the maroon CRV outside the window. “Yes” he said. But it was the wrong car. Ours was 2 spots away and over a curb. My mom in law is capable of all this, but why wouldn’t you make it a bit easier? The car place down the street walked me to my car and opened the door for me…. I have tried to reach Chris Cox at the email below and it doesn't work....
Life is too short not to let somebody know you care, let alone let someone know you see them. Last week, I had a really hard time, both mentally and physically. Things were terrible. My family lost their baby and some close relatives were extremely sick. On top of all of that, the cost of my car being worked on just made things a lot more stressful, especially when you don't make much money to begin with. Despite it all though, Austin Jester took the time to walk to the service department, just to shake my hand and welcome me. He smiled at me and wasn't afraid to tell anyone nearby how he knew me. I was dressed really trashy too, yet that didn't stop him one bit. Talk about exemplifying the face of South Pointe Honda, I think that experience alone made me see the brand in a whole different light. I hope your reading this Jester. You did a great job. It's little acts like those that change the world for people. --Joel P.S., the five stars go to Jester, not the company.
Austin was great. Easy to deal with; no pressure. Answered all questions and added information we didn’t think to ask. Buying a car is not always a pleasant experience, but Austin and Sean made it simple. Will go back there first before any other dealerships.
