Don't buy tires here. I bought my last 2 vehicles at Honda of Salem and had no complaints. I've been here for service numerous times and it's always been a bit of a wait and rather costly but they do a fine job. My mistake was in being talked in to buying my tires through the dealership. I was hesitant to get tires here because I like the service associated with tire shops (rotations, flat repair, etc). I was assured that they offer the same level of service at Honda of Salem. When I got a flat today, I called and was initially advised that they don't do flat repair. I explained (twice) that my tire had been punctured and I was running on my spare and that I would like to see if my tire could be fixed. The woman in the service dept told me that I needed to talk with parts to see about buying a new tire because they would not repair my tire. I told the parts guy what my issue was and he assured me that they could help and that he would explain it to the service scheduler then transfer my call back to ensure that they could get me in. I got transferred back and was told that they could get me in in six days. It's not reasonable to drive around on that donut for 6 days. I opted to go to a tire shop instead who fixed my tire without question and got it back on my car in less than 15 minutes. No wait, no hassle, no fees.

They were very accommodating and welcoming. They also did not try to pull any tricks or anything and were very straight forward and what they could and could not do. I am a very satisfied customer, and will look here for future vehicle purchases. Ruben was great in handling my sale and did his best to provide me with the best deal and product.

Setting up an appointment took no time at all, quick and easy. Service was completed to request and the staff were great. But failed inspection points were not made aware of until I went over the inspection form, long after leaving the service center. For instance, I would have liked to have been notified that my air filter needs replacement and I would have requested it to be replaced right away.

Purchased a 2000 911 with 36k from RJ and live outside of Oregon. I asked about issues with the vehicle and I was told there were none. Upon delivery of the car the convertible top doesn’t close, my ac condenser is broken, both rear shocks are leaking oil, my fuel vent valve is broken so I can’t fill my tank, and small animal feces were found when replacing stereo unit. After spending $36,000 on the car I’m already $5,000 deep in maintenance with at least another $5,000 more needed to be done. I’ve never been more disappointed in a purchase in my life.

We’ve been taking our car here for 8 years. When we are able to pick our service rep things go well. Problem is a very high turnover there except for two people. Mauricio has been good. I saw another reviewer positively comment on the other sevice rep. I can only assume that reviewer was there on a very very slow day and then only to identify the color of the car. I don’t want to negatively call out an individual by name publicly, but the other person we have HAD to use a few times is quite terrible. If we say we’d like the brakes checked ahead of time - both in person and on the online form, how exactly is that misunderstood and how exactly should we communicate that otherwise? Same with transmission fluid and assorted other things with this person throughout the years. And while I appreciate the ability to physically use a pen and highlighter- the markings still have to make sense to the customers you’re ranting to - you know, the real people. Terrible communicator, terrible listener, oddly condescending given the low level of insight. Used to think it might be mostly toward females but think it’s more a matter of being a general burrow. It’s too bad because it’s so close by, but wilsonville is only 30 minutes away and while they may have someone like this - at least I won’t know it ahead of time.

Hands down the worst experience I have had at a dealership in my life! Sales staff seemed more interested in chatting with one another than helping the customer. Finance manager very dishonest with the numbers he was throwing at us supposedly using the same KBB I was using. Turned me off from using a dealership in the future. Bring back honesty and customer service! Update: I tried calling the GM twice since he left his post asking me to call him and I left messages with no return call from him. However, we found great customer service and an honest and kind atmosphere at Wilson Motors Ford in Corvallis where we traded our vehicle on a great Honda minivan! Thank you to them! I will do business with them and Robersons in the future!

I walked in a while back and asked if they had used Honda Pilot’s, and the sales man said NO and walked away. No one else approached to help. I left and went to Wilsonville Honda and bought one from them. Super helpful and friendly. I have always had excellent service with all the departments. I decided to give Salem Honda one more try since I live in the Salem area. Went in for a battery replacement. The service guy (Mauricio) that helped me was not very friendly and seemed annoyed, but the technician was super nice. That was the only good thing about my experience there. The technician checked it out and it needed to be replaced. The service man told me it would cost 489 with labor because they had to remove parts. Then the technician said I can do it really quick but the service man (Mauricio) said no they needed to check the car in. He said that so they could charge me for the labor. I said yes because I was I a hurry. I decided to call Wilsonville Honda, because 489 for a battery replacement seemed too high. They told me they would do it for 299 flat. I ran back inside and told them not to start with my car. The service rep was annoyed. I will never go back to that place. I’m sure they don’t care about my business, I mean clearly the salesman acted like they didn’t. Buying a car can be a hassle but this place hands down is terrible.
