Honda Of Decatur Dealership in decatur, Alabama

My wife and I decided to purchase a new car and we live in the Decatur area. After an exhausting search everywhere we ended up at Shottenkirk Honda in Decatur Al. The salesman Mr. Jason Propes was great to work with ! The finance manager and the whole team was also great and easy to understand and work with. If anyone is looking to buy a car and wants a hassle free easy experience I recommend visiting this dealership.

Terrible experience. I bought a 2022 HRV. The car ended up having a door seal leak. It took multiple visits for them to fix. They scratched the car trim up in the car wash and took off the wrong door frame and scratched It all up. It took two visits for them to fix the trim but they never fixed the door frame. However they did agree to give me a paint pen to fix it myself. I took it back for a routine oil change today and told them not to send it through the car wash but they did anyway!!!!! And scratched up the trim they just replaced!!!!!!! I probably will not buy another new Honda. I love the car but not the dealership in Decatur and it’s the only one close enough to have service done at. Now I guess I just have to live with the trim they scratched up because it’d be such a hassle to get them to fix it again plus they might just scratch it again at the next oil change because evidently they send it through a car wash even when you ask them not to do so.

Literally the best dealership me and my husband have ever been to. Everyone there is so nice and helpful! They try to work with you as much as they can. Me and my husband have been to several dealerships throughout the years, and this one was literally the best. They actually care and really try to help. Also, we absolutely love the car that we got and have had no problems at all. A big shoutout to Dru, Chandler, and Kelsey. You guys are AWESOME!

I recently purchased a 2018 Jeep Compass, I was assisted by Chandler, Kelsey & Ben (the GM). From the very beginning they were extremely helpful and did everything they could to ensure my happiness. There were a few minor problems during the process but they were quick on their feet and worked tirelessly to make everything right! This is a great team to do business with. I visited many different lots while car shopping and there isn’t one that can compare to Honda and the people they have working for them. I am truly grateful !

Had called about a vehicle online to come test drive a week ago and asked if they were willing to come off the price advertised. Was informed by the dealership representative they they had room to work and would work out a better price for me. I asked asked for their bottom dollar price out the door and they informed they would speak with their sales manager to get back to me before I drive an hour to come test drive. It has been a week and no one calls or follows up. Was ready to come test drive and potentially buy a vehicle this week, shocked this dealership simply just didn’t put in the effort to call a prospective buyer back with the out the door cost. Plenty of vehicles for sale in the market and test driving some other options now.

I did a little online shopping to see what was out there. Got a call from Honda. Went in to meet with Gage. I told him what I was looking for and what payment range I was able to stay in. I think it's safe to say home buying and car shopping isn't anyone's favorite thing to do. He showed me the first car and it was what I told him I was looking for but I didn't like it. He asked what I didn't like then brought me EXACTLY what I was looking for. We then looked at the color options we had then went in to talk numbers. The fun part (NOT). Since we already spoke about what I was able to do this part was pretty painless. He worked with his team to get me where I needed to be. After that I worked with the young lady in finance and she was lovely too. I'm not going to lie sometimes it can be intimidating as a woman going into these places but I didn't feel that way at all. Great staff and an overall great experience.

My husband and I went today to look for a new Honda Accord. The current economy is making it tough to find just what you're looking for readily available on the lot. Cassidy was a great sales consultant and took us through all our options. Cassidy and Chris went above and beyond to ensure our family had everything we needed before we left today. Our new car will be here within the week and these guys offered to make our pick up as easy as possible. We will shop here again in the future and definitely send our family and friends here!

We worked with Jeff Raines to purchase our 2022 Honda Odyssey. He helped my wife find just the right thing she wanted. We had worked with another dealer but it fell through and was very disappointed at the way we were handled but Jeff was a breath of fresh air. Very transparent, very accommodating, and patient.
