Very disappointed with our recent vehicle purchase at Billion Honda in Iowa City. My fiancé and I purchased a used 2018 Hyundai Sonata. It was a previous leased vehicle. The interior was very well maintained and overall, the sedan looked great…until we noticed a paint discoloration on the roof. The white paint DID not match the car and it looked to be painted on there with some sort of brush to cover it up..It was a TERRIBLE, CHEAP paint job. We received heavy rain this past weekend on 11/05/2022 and the paint began to peel OFF. (See Pictures). It was never disclosed that there were paint issues. I would not have purchased this sedan if I had been shown the paint issue. It will end up being a big rust issue in the future. I chose to stay local to purchase a vehicle but very disappointed by purchasing through BILLION HONDA IN IOWA CITY. We have contacted our sales representative and look forward to hearing from BILLION HONDA OF IOWA CITY. Update to follow.

I worked with Ryan Shetler to purchase a 2023 Kia Forte GT2. Ryan works at the Honda store but was able to shop all the Billion lots to find a car that offered the options I desired and remained within my budget. Ryan was quick to send me videos when new cars came onto the lot. Not only was this extremely helpful for understanding the product, but it also saved me multiple trips to the dealership and helped me make timely decisions, which is imperative in this car market. Ryan was thorough, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I wasn't able to pick the car up right away due to scheduling. Ryan made sure to move it into the service area for coverage due to an impending storm that was supposed to produce hail. Everyone I came in contact with during my experience was nice and respectful including Kyle Toth, the team member at Kia who helped with the car delivery, and Lucas LeGrand, the Kia General Manager. I would absolutely recommend friends and family to work with Ryan or Kyle. I love my new car and enjoyed the process of purchasing it!

Scumbag dealership that only cares about the dollar. Somehow my last review was removed so posting again for people to see. I bought a car here a few years back solely because I had a friend working in sales at the time. If he had not worked there, this place never would have gotten my business. After a recent oil change in their service department costing $92 (see picture) I will never be back. This same oil change cost $45 before this one. They doubled the price and are charging $51 for less than an hour of labor for an oil change. Found a local auto shop where the total was $50 and will be using them exclusively going forward. Thankfully, my car's warranty has expired so there is no reason to consider Billion. The first time I took it to the local shop they even pointed out multiple things Billion had not for the past few years. Seems as though Billion was waiting for the worst case to happen and fully break instead of letting me know ahead of time to get things fixed before that happens and they lose money. Well now they have lost all of my business. It is a ridiculous business practice to charge your customers these outrageous prices. Even with inflation it doesn't make sense. I have been treated rudely by their scheduler when calling before as well. I highly suggest avoiding this dealership for both purchases and service and instead support your local companies.

I had a sensor go out at the most inconvenient time. Billion Honda was able to fix it quickly. Also got my car detailed at the same time. Great service & easy to work with.

Bought a 2018 Odyssey new from Billion. Several times a year it won't start - dead battery. I've taken it in many times and asked them to please try to find and fix the issue. (It's probably a $5 relay that is sticking on when I turn the van off and draining the battery.) Because the van starts when they have it, they won't try to fix it. I've replaced the (brand new) battery but it still drains randomly. Bottom line, I bought a new car and it is not dependable or safe. My wife has been stranded many times. They don't care. I recommend taking your money elsewhere.
