Life savers!!! I wrecked my old little car on Wednesday morning. The damage was so bad I had to tow the car 3 blocks back to my house. After looking for hours at over priced used cars I decided to try and find a new car. That was even harder then I was able to get ahold of Simon from the Honda dealership. I told him my story and he quickly offer a brand new 2022 Honda Accord EX at a reasonable price. Price was even better than you could find down south. Highly recommend giving them a shot as their process was quick and painless. Simon was not pushy, provided facts, and was professional during the process.

Service was very fast & efficient. My car was so clean when I picked it up that I almost didn't recognize it! I love the convenience of the shuttle service. But only 4 stars because when told my car was ready I was quoted several different prices which was confusing & the total when I paid was none of the prices quoted previously. I was also told about a leak concerning "rack & pinion" but I still don't know if that means it must be fixed, or its dangerous or what to do about it. All in all however, the experience was positive.

Over the years I have developed a bit of mistrust in auto dealers. However, I found that everyone I worked with at Barber Honda to be upfront and honest. The car I wanted was not readily available so I had to put a deposit down and wait for delivery. At that time they gave me a total out the door price. They did not try and take advantage of the current market and add several thousand more as most dealers do. I was very pleased with the entire process

While Barber Honda could use additional service writers, the intake staff were friendly and got people checked in quickly. The waiting room was full by the time I left; I didn't see and shuttle service running like before covid. But people were sitting on the steps and all the waiting room seats were full. I miss the early morning donuts. Waiting time was about normal for a basic service. Everyone was friendly. I've been getting my Pilot serviced there for many years.

The work done was fine—no complaints there. But 5 1/2. Hours is a long time to wait for a 35K check on my 2017 Ridgeline. I had made an appointment for 10:30 and I arrived at 10:24 and didn’t leave until after 4 PM. In the past these periodic checkups have taken only about an hour so I was surprised that it took so long this time. It was my understanding that an appointment time was a definite time and my truck would be taken at the appointment time slot ahead of any others.

The level of personal service from the staff at Barber Honda in Bakersfield was second to none. I was treated with respect and the sales representative, Alan, took the time to test drive several cars with me, and never tried to sell me something I wasn't interested in. Matt in finance was clear and informative as well as personable. I highly recommend visiting them if you are interested in a pleasant car buying experience.

Customer service was super friendly and fast even tho they where pretty busy. They told me a time frame and stuck to it. Also was a surprise but they completely washed my car free of charge. Left happy and definitely will come here again for any honda needs.
