I recently purchased my sixth Honda car in 35 years and can confidently say AutoNation Honda Clearwater is the best around. They made it easy to buy my new HR-V. And their follow up with this remote customer has been great. A month before the 2022 Holidays an RV bumped into my 2021 Honda HR-V EX-L that I had searched for and found a few towns away, during the post-COVID new car shortages. After a month in the shop, it was totaled. The search started again but the 2023 model was not at all the same car and I really wanted what I had before. There were just a handful of slightly used, 2022s like mine, a couple with very low mileage. As qualified as they come, I tried as hard as I could to buy the one offered 75 miles from home but the dealer did nothing to advance the completion of the transaction. AutoNation Honda Clearwater was the opposite. They were responsive to emails and phone calls moving the process along. It was worth the trip across the state to take delivery, the drive home, in my newest Honda, a pleasure.

This was my first time getting my car serviced here. I had an appointment— you can easily schedule your appointment online; that works great. I was greeted by a very friendly Alyssa, who was professional and kept me well informed. The problem is that it took almost two hours to change my oil and do their inspection. After that, they discovered a tire needed patching, which I am grateful they found and repaired. The only problem was the initial waiting time. They were down a couple of technicians. Otherwise, price reasonable and I was well informed of everything by Alyssa, who was great.

We had a fantastic car buying experience at Autonation Honda. We found the car (minivan) online, communication was easy and we arranged to come see it within a few days. We had had other vans be sold out from under us at other dealerships so we weren’t having a great experience at this point. We showed up to the appointment and our sales lady, Jackie, was amazing from the moment we met her (dressed head to toe in Saturday college football garb) to the moment we received our van. The staff we worked with were professional and communicated everything we were doing, very fair competitive pricing and no negotiations. It was an easy process and we never felt pushed or like a number like we had at some other dealerships. They truly cared and we got a really great price for a very reliable vehicle. We could not be happier with our experience and purchase and will definitely be telling friends and family who need a vehicle to save themselves time and a headache and check them out first.

I’ve taken my cars here for many years. Always pleased with the respect and service. Occasionally I’ve gone to other places due to location and always prefer this dealership. This time I received a video of a repair needed to my car which I really appreciated being able to see. This made it much clearer to understand. The only thing I was a bit annoyed about was a $59 miscellaneous fee added to my invoice that was not mentioned in the upfront quote and I did not see it itemized on the invoice. I’m sure it’s something I’ve overlooked many other times and just happened to notice it this time. Need to remember to ask about it next time. But overall a good experience.
