Popular cars that we Won’t see in 2021

2020 was an unpredictable year for the automotive industry, various new cars with new models made their entries, and unfortunately, some vehicles were discontinued. Overall all the good things are lined up to an end.

The auto manufacturers introduced new models from their lineups, and every year they manage the model mix by introducing and discontinuing some models. There are various reasons like platform age, market shifts, sales dismal, and more for discontinuing the old models.

We have noticed that 2021 will be more into two-door coupes, four-door sedans, and crossovers and the automakers replace some small economy cars with small economy crossovers. the major thing is that in the whole list of discontinuing models there is not a single crossover in the list.

Here is the list of some great cars that we won’t be seeing for the 2021 model year.

BMW i8

The company introduced its last i8 small-engine and big battery car in June and now, the BMW i8 Coupe and i8 Roadster are dead for the next year.BMW i8 was a modest, futuristic, and exotic car. This car looks fast but in reality, it was a moderate car, the company also felt that the combined output was short if we compare the price with Porsche 911.

  • The 2020 BMW i8 is a plug-in hybrid supercar, and the roadster was recently added to this lineup.

  • The i8 was available with a Lilliputian 1.5 liter, three-cylinder internal combustion engine powered by a battery pack and electric motors that produce 369 horsepower.

  • The BMW was offering a car with carbon construction but you can’t expect it to be a lightweight Sportster.

Acura RLX

In reality, the Acura RLX was not one of the strongest SUVs in the market and it is forgotten quickly by the market. The company already discontinued it is TSX and TL in 2014, and in 2020 it is RLX because the all-new Acura TLX takes over the Acura range in terms of one size fits Sedan. We wish that Acura will resume its upward trajectory and make its entry with a Lexus LS- rivaling RLX replacement.

  • Since September only 776 Acura RLX models have been sold in the U.S. market.

  • The RLX was available with a strong powertrain that includes V6 paired with three electric motors to generate 377 horsepower.

  • The RLX was available with front or all-wheel drive. And All-wheel steering was standard.

Cadillac CT6

Cadillac CT6 was the largest Sedan in the current lineup, now the company is only left with the midsize CT5 and compact Cadillac CT4 in this luxury Sedan lineup. The CT6 was dealing with a slow CUE infotainment system that proved to be its downfall. The CT6 never caught the eye of buyers in the market.

  • Cadillac CT6 becomes the first Sedan that was featured with Cadillac’s Super Cruise semi-automated driving technology.

  • CT6 is the only model that generates 550 horsepower Blackwing twin-turbo V8.

  • Cadillac CT6 is available with a lack of cabin space and uninspired interior

Ford Mustang Shelby GT350, & GT350R

2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT350R was arrived recently and becomes the major part in the news now, declared dead by the company. The GT350 and GT350R had short but remarkable lives. The GT500 with 760-hp is centered on behalf of the GT350 and its track-focused R sibling. Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to this manual-transmission, Ford Mustang Shelby.

  • The GT350 and GT350R are introduced as the most powerful Mustang with 526 horsepower produced in the market.

  • The Mustang Mach 1 will fill the void between the Mustang GT and Shelby GT500.

  • The Ford Mustang GT350 and R is powered by an impressive 5.2-liter V8 with a flat-plane crank.

  • The company has also included some electronic wizards like electronic line-lock, launch control, and the Magne Ride suspension damping system.

Jaguar XE & XF Sportbrake

Jaguar already announced that this year will be the last for its entry-level sedan, the Jaguar XE is considered as the entry-level luxury sports sedan, The XE was introduced in the year 2017 in the U.S. but unfortunately, this car has to make its early exit by the company.

When Jaguar XF Sportbrake was introduced, the company expects a lot more with XF, but this sporty wagon has failed to steal the sales from the crossovers in the U.S. plus this stylish sedan will not return for next model year

  • Jaguar XE is available with turbocharged four-cylinder engines and 296-hp supercharged V6.

  • The Jaguar XE has sold 9278 Sedans in 2017, but in 2020 the graph falls with only 886 Sedans.

  • Based on the reports, in the case of XF Sportsbrake, the company has managed to sell only 250 XF by the U.S. dealers, if Jaguar keeps it with plastic cladding on it and called it as crossover then it may get more success.

  • 2020 Jaguar XF Sportsbrake comes with two engine choices, one is with a 296-hp turbo-four while the Sportsbrake S is available with a 380-hp supercharged V6.
