2021 Mercedes-Benz E450 All-Terrain is Tested- Top or Flop

There was a time when Wagon was a premium car for U.S. roadways. These cars were the first preference for the families who are interested in road-tripping across the country. There is a huge list of auto manufacturers who are selling Wagons, but Mercedes Benz keeps its position one step ahead by doing the long-roof longer. 

Traditionally Wagons favors the U.S. customers, still Mercedes-Benz E-class wagon converted in E450 All-Terrain. The main objective of this change is to attract customers who are going to choose the Crossovers.

Other features like grille, headlamps, taillamps, and front bumper styles have been updated. In this new model, you can’t see any changes in the shape.overall the styling is really impressive and you don’t give a second thought about putting hundreds of miles on in one sitting.

The most important mechanical update is the availability of a power bulge that makes us focus on a new engine that is shared by the overall E-line class. This car uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter  inline-six paired like the previous one and all-wheel drive. Six-engine is similar to the other model of Benz.

Also, it produces 362 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque from the 48-volt EQ-Boost mild-hybrid system. 21 horsepower is added by the starter-generator system. If we compare them, we still consider E53 in the most powerful engine rather than E450’s model because of the minimum electric supercharger.

2021 Mercedes-Benz E450 All-Terrain estimates a 0 to 60 mph time in 4.4 seconds in the testing phase. If we compare E450 Wagon then it was a long-term test car. Overall EPA fuel economy is 22 miles per gallon city, 28mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined.

The price of this new 2021 E450 will be $68,650 that includes a $1,050 destination charges, however, the offering is more for ground clearance. We have concluded that this new E-class All-Terrain is somehow similar to the wagon, for the SUV buyers. Car lovers see this E-450 All-Terrain as an elevated Wagon.
